The late comic artist, Vaughn Bode has had a tremendous impact on the graffiti scene for several years. Many graffiti artists mimic his characters in their street art. I'm sure this wall will be a familiar site for many San Franciscans, as it is for me. I remember as a child looking at this wall in wonder. It makes me really happy that it has survived this long, albeit faded. Perhaps this was THE wall that got me interested in graffiti as a child.
