Temple of Doom

Temple of Doom

The Temple of doom has been a target in my sights for along time. It started with a picture I found on the internet of a very distinct Girafa roller – I had to find it. I eventually found a picture that listed the city it was in, but finding abandoned tunnels in a city isn’t easy. When I finally realized what I was looking at I felt stupid – it’s a pretty easy find if you’re familiar with the area. Once I located it, we set out to see what was inside. Unlike most abandoned tunnels, this one is gated and boarded up with an extremely tall wall – on both sides. We left feeling defeated. Eventually we got word that there was someone friendly living inside, who would open it up if you brought a care package. The next time I was in the area, I did just that – and finally got to shoot this epic roller! (Not to mention some great work from Phaze, Indica and others!)
