Oil Pastel Fruit

Oil Pastel Fruit

I was visiting a local Japanese dollar store (technically a $1.50 store) and some Oil Pastels caught my eye. When I was a child, I once saw Oil Pastels as a sort of forbidden-crayon, since my parents would not let me draw with them. If I remember correctly, the reasoning was that they were messier than regular crayons. When I spotted them in the store, I figured a buck fifty couldn’t hurt so I picked them up along with a $1.50 pad of drawing paper. Over the next couple weeks I practiced Oil Pastels by drawing a fruit a day. Below are the results.
